May 2024
Also on May 5 at noon we will have our once-a-month all-ages Sunday School & Lunch. Join us for a lunch and discussion of the Bible and our Lutheran heritage. Come join the fellowship and ministry together! All are welcome!
On May 13 at 7:00 pm we will have a Lydia Circle meeting in the church library. This group is open to any women who wish to join.
On May 19 at 11:45 am we will pack the food we’ve been collecting int individual Blessing Bags. A blessing bag is a gift of food we can offer to anyone we meet who is in need. During all of April and the beginning of May we will be collecting the following to stuff the bags with: Vienna sausages, small packages of crackers, small packages of cookies, water bottles, fruit cups, juice boxes, small packages of peanut-butter crackers.
On May 26 at 9:00 am we will have Caring & Sharing- a time when everyone gets together to send birthday, anniversary, and get well cards to members of the congregation and beyond.
June 2024
On June 10 at 7:00 pm we will have a Lydia Circle meeting in the church library. This group is open to any women who wish to join.
On June 24-28 from 9:00 am to noon we are hosting vacation bible school. There will also be an afternoon program led by New Horizons of North Texas that will run until 3:30 pm where kids will have support in reading and STEM activities. To learn more, visit our VBS page.
On June 29 from 5:00-7:00 pm we will have a cookout for the neighborhood. We ask that everyone brings their own meat or protein to cook on the grill, and a side dish or dessert to share. We will have a waterslide and games for the whole family.

July 2024
On July 8 at 7:00 pm we will have a Lydia Circle meeting in the church library. This group is open to any women who wish to join.
On July 21 at 9:00 am and after worship, we will fill backpacks with school supplies to give to children attending DISD schools. We could use all the hands we can get, so please help us with this amazing ministry.

From July 29-August 1 from 9 am to 3:30 pm, we will host a New Horizons of North Texas Summer Camp. During the camp, kids entering kindergarten through eighth grade (ages 5-14), will have fun with STEM and reading activities to jumpstart their readiness for the new school year.
